An invaluable tool for all professional traders

Everything on one clock face

To monitor the operation of exchanges in different cities around the world you no longer need to have several wall clocks. The 24 Hour Market Clock shows the live trading sessions of the 15 largest world stock exchanges during the day.

It has a 24 hour dial, so you are able to watch the whole trading day (and the whole market) at once

In contrast to the usual 12-hour clock, the hour hand on the market clock makes a full circle in 24 hours (the minute and second hands still behave like a regular clock). This allows you to view the entire trading day and observe the continuity of world currency and exchange trading sessions.

Local Daylight Savings Time (DST) changes are calculated and applied AUTOMATICALLY! No more headaches trying to stay on top of DST changes in New York, London, Tokyo, Zurich, Australia, etc… the clock always shows you the current and correct trading hours.

  • Watch the current open/closed status of worldwide stock exchanges
  • The clock dial indicates periods of increased market activity, key moments of the trading day and the transition time of the trading day
  • Local DST changes are calculated and applied automatically, so the clock always shows you the right trading hours
  • Its a software program for Windows computers (not an MT4 indicator)
  • Simple to install into any PC

An invaluable tool for all professional traders!

How it works:

  • The hour hand shows the current status of the market. It points to the markets currently open (orange sectors)
  • Surge in activity hours are highlighted in green (these hours coincide with the opening of major stock markets)
  • The Green 21:00 UTC Line stands for the beginning of the new trading day
  • The clock displays UTC time because the UTC does not change, thus it is the same throughout the year.
  • Local DST changes are calculated and applied automatically, so the Clock always shows you the right trading hours•
  • Day transition line – 17:00 New York time or 22:00 UTC (21:00 in summer) is considered to be the end of the current trading day. This is the period of bank rollover, when brokers charge swaps for the transfer of open positions on Forex to the next day

Trading Hours

All currently open markets are highlighted in orange

The main purpose of the clock is to show the most influential hours when price movements are the strongest. It only displays stock exchanges that directly influence currency movements, as well as trading sessions that have the most effect on the forex market

Forex Sessions

The Clock displays the five major Forex Sessions:

• Pacific Session (New Zealand, Australia)
• Asian Session with two Middle East Markets (Tokyo, Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Mumbai)
• Middle Eastern Session: (Dubai, Saudi)
• European Session (Moscow, London, Zurich, Frankfurt)
• American Session (New York,  Toronto, Chicago)

Closed Markets

The clock displays markets that are currently closed in grey

The 24 Hour Market Clock shows Stock Exchanges and Markets that are closed on market holidays and public holidays, as well as weekends.

Market Activity Sectors

The clock highlights the peak market activity hours in green

(IE: London & New York open sessions, when strong price movements take place)
These particular sectors show you the best time to trade and take profit
